Hiwa Rauf for Investment & Development (HRID) was founded in 2012, by prominent businessman and philanthropist, Hiwa Rauf. It was created with the vision to implement a diverse range of construction projects both commercial and ‘community service projects’ (non-profit).The two landmark projects of HRID are Downtown and DoubleTree by Hilton- Slemani hotel project. HRID’s largest community service project to date is the Said Sadiq Grain Silo complex, which services the Governorates of Slemani and Halabja.
