Mr. Rawaz Rauf serves as a non-executive board member and strategic advisor to Hiwa Rauf Investment and Development, where he plays a key role in advancing the company’s sustainability goals and supporting access to international financing. His involvement strengthens HRID’s alignment with global standards and contributes to its long-term strategic direction. Rawaz is a seasoned investor and advisor with over 14 years of experience in Iraq’s telecommunications, insurance, building materials, and real estate sectors. He is a partner at Euphrates Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in technology startups across Kurdistan and Iraq, and serves on the board of AmCham Kurdistan. Rawaz holds an MBA from the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) and an engineering degree from University College London.

A graduate of the University of Slemani (BSc) and the American University of Iraq–Sulaimani (MBA), he combines technical understanding with business strategy to lead the company forward. Prior to his role at HRID, Mr. Rauf gained extensive experience in the construction and development sector, with a deep background in industrial operations and production line management. This foundation has shaped his pragmatic approach to execution, operational excellence, and systems thinking. As CEO, he has helped shape HRID’s culture around performance, accountability, and professional development. He has built a high-performing, diverse team working alongside both local and international professionals. His leadership is centered on future-ready systems, ethical practices, and sustainable business models.

Ms. Louise Collins
Ms. Louise Collins joined HRID’s Board of Directors in 2025, bringing deep knowledge in ESG, sustainability, and development strategy. She actively supports the company’s commitment to responsible business practices and international standards. Previously, she held senior leadership roles at JLL including Head of Project & Development Services UAE and Head of Engineering & Energy for the Middle East and Africa. With over 25 years of experience, she has led major developments across sectors such as hospitality, real estate, and education. Recognized as Women in Construction – Professional of the Year, Ms. Collins is a strong advocate for sustainability and inclusion. She holds a Master’s in Building Services Engineering, an Executive MBA, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Dr. Yassar Nasser
Dr. Yassar Nasser joined HRID’s Board of Directors as an Independent Member in 2025, contributing expertise in finance, strategy, and risk management. His insights support the board’s role in guiding HRID’s governance, oversight, and long-term direction. He works and teaches at the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School and advises global firms on capital strategy and financial planning. His past roles include Director of the MBA and EMBA programs at the American University of Beirut, Group CFO and CEO across diversified ventures, and senior positions at ABN AMRO and Citibank. Dr. Nasser holds a Doctorate in Monetary Economics and an MBA from Cambridge University. He is also affiliated with Harvard’s Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness.
